The Foundations rely each year on an exciting schedule of special events to raise significant funds in support of Memorial’s and Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital’s programs and services.

Conine All-Star Golf Classic
Hosted by Jeff and Cindy Conine since 1994, the Conine All-Star Golf Classic is one of the premier golf events in South Florida. The Conine Golf Classic is known for its incredible food, beverages, golfing goodies, in-person personal shopping experience for each golfer and hole prizes that can’t be topped.
Proceeds benefit the Conine Clubhouse at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, a home-away-from-home where more than 800 families reside annually, all at no cost to them.

Jeff Conine Celebrity Poker Classic
The Jeff Conine Celebrity Poker Classic is held in August each year at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. The event benefits the Conine Clubhouse at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital. Jeff Conine hosts the tournament with a huge reception for all players, celebrity guests, auctions, food and drinks. The prizes are over the top with more than 500 participants.

Joe DiMaggio American Icon Award
Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital Foundation presents the Joe DiMaggio American Icon Award. The award is given annually to an individual who represents the highest of values Joe DiMaggio stood for.
We are honored to have our past honorees be the 42nd President of the United States Bill Clinton, NBA legends Earvin “Magic” Johnson and Pat Riley, Grammy award winners Gloria and Emilio Estefan, baseball great Derek Jeter, author James Patterson and award-winning broadcaster Bob Costas. The Joe DiMaggio American Icon Award event is held annually and benefits Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital.

Diamond Angels Fairy Tale Ball
The Diamond Angels of Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital Foundation is a volunteer membership group dedicated to supporting the vision of Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital — to provide safe, quality patient- and family-centered healthcare services to its patients, regardless of their ability to pay.
Since the inaugural Fairy Tale Ball in fall 2004, the Diamond Angels have raised more than $7 million for Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital. The Annual Diamond Angels Fairy Tale Ball features a cocktail reception, spectacular silent auction, dinner, dancing and an always exciting classic rock concert.
