About Me
I am a fellowship-trained pediatric otolaryngologist at Memorial Division of Pediatric Otolaryngology. I care for infants, children and adolescents with a range of common and complex ear, nose and throat disorders.

I was drawn to medicine because of how science can be applied to improve people’s lives. I chose otolaryngology because it combines innovative technology, minimally invasive surgical techniques, complex anatomy and the opportunity to solve a wide variety of clinical problems.

Early on in my training, I knew pediatric otolaryngology was where I belonged. I enjoy collaborating with other pediatric physicians and specialists toward a shared goal of doing what’s best for each child and family.

I love helping children feel comfortable during a visit and turning what can be a frightening experience into a positive one. Whether we’re talking about their favorite superhero or proudly displaying one of their drawings, these moments remind me why I chose this profession.

Caring for children is an extraordinary privilege. I believe exceptional care begins with taking the time to listen, understand each child’s unique needs and appreciate the concerns and perspectives of parents and caregivers. Parents know their child best, and I see them as essential partners in making decisions about their child’s care.

My role goes beyond diagnosing and treating ear, nose and throat conditions. I explain complex issues in an understandable way and guide families to make the best treatment decisions for their child. My goal is to build relationships so that every family leaves the visit feeling heard, informed and reassured.

Areas of Focus

  • Pediatric aerodigestive disorders: Provides comprehensive, collaborative care for children with complex airway and breathing disorders, including airway narrowing, voice box and vocal cord problems and tracheostomy-related conditions
  • Pediatric ear and hearing disorders: Diagnoses and treats a range of ear concerns, such as recurrent ear infections, chronic middle ear disease, eardrum perforations and hearing loss
  • Congenital head and neck anomalies: Uses traditional and minimally invasive surgical approaches to treat malformations and anomalies of the head, neck, nose and ear that were present at birth
  • Nose and sinus disorders: Evaluates and treats ongoing sinus infections, nasal obstructions, nosebleeds and other pediatric nasal and sinus conditions
  • Sleep, tonsil and swallowing disorders: Evaluates and treats pediatric obstructive sleep apnea, enlarged tonsils and adenoids, swallowing problems and other throat and upper airway disorders
  • Salivary gland disorders: Uses nonsurgical medical therapies, minimally invasive procedures and surgery to treat obstructions, inflammation, stones and noncancerous tumors
