The Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital All Star Program empowers students to give back, build leadership skills, and support children and families in our community. Schools and organizations participate by adopting Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital as their organization of choice and completing meaningful service projects throughout the school year through fundraisers, donation drives, awareness campaigns, and hands-on volunteer opportunities that make a real difference for our patients.
- Enroll Your School or Organization – Complete the All Star Interest Form below
- Form a Club or Partner with One Start a JDCH – All Star Club or collaborate with an existing service club (Key Club, NHS, HOSA, Student Government, etc.)
- Plan and Complete Activities – Participate throughout the school year, with flexibility built in so participation is welcomed at any level
- Stay Connected with JDCH – Work with the External Relations team for guidance, materials, and recognition opportunities
Program Goals
- Foster a spirit of philanthropy, volunteerism, and civic engagement
- Build lasting, collaborative partnerships between JDCH and local schools and organizations
- Inspire community pride through service, compassion, and kindness
A Few Ideas to Get Started
- Host a "Dine for a Cause" night at a local restaurant
- Organize a book, toy, or UNO card drive
- Sponsor a patient cart or playroom through Adopt-a-Cart & Adopt-a-Playroom
- Volunteer at a Memorial Healthcare System community event
