Dr. Heidi Torocsik joined Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital in January of 2013. She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Emory University and pursued graduate studies at the University of Florida and Florida International University. She graduated from Nova Southeastern University with a degree in doctor of osteopathy in 1992, after which she completed an internship at Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Torocsik completed a pediatric residency and fellowship in child neurology at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital. Her medical interests include stroke, neonatal neurology and epilepsy.

Dr Torocsik enjoys teaching and mentoring the residents and medical students .
