Pediatric General and Thoracic Surgery

Our team of general and thoracic surgeons is comprised of some of the finest pediatric surgeons in the country. As a Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center, we deliver the highest level of care from professionals whose capabilities far exceed those of other facilities and who are available around the clock to handle life-threatening emergencies. Our thoracic surgery team offers comprehensive care for both common and rare conditions, ranging from chest wall malformations to congenital thoracic dystrophy.

When considered safe, procedures are performed on an outpatient basis. Many children who undergo a simple appendectomy, for instance, often go home the same day of the surgery.
