Second Opinions
Trust the orthopedic experts at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital to provide you with the information you need to make important decisions about your child’s health. We provide second opinions to help you choose the best course of action after your child has been diagnosed with an orthopedic condition.
For referring physicians, please begin the patient referral process here.
You may seek a second opinion to:
- Confirm a diagnosis
- Evaluate treatment options
- Confirm recommended treatment
Whatever your need is, we’re here to help give you peace of mind.
How to request a second opinion
To request a second opinion, please complete the form below. You will be assigned a KidCierge personal care navigator from Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital. They will lead you through collection of your child’s medical records, manage other logistics and answer any questions you may have.
A Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital pediatric specialist will review your child's records, answer your questions and schedule a follow-up telehealth visit. Your pediatric specialist will let you know when it's time to securely upload your child's medical records.
If the Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital navigator assigned to your request determines that the case is not appropriate for an evaluation, he/she will work with you on next steps.
