Meeting the highest standards as delineated by the State of Florida and the American College of Surgeons Committee on Trauma, Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital is home to the only Level 1 pediatric trauma center in South Broward County. Our pediatric surgeons are highly experienced to evaluate and treat an extensive range of cases, from minor injuries to critical, life-threatening ones.
Open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, the trauma center provides high-quality critical care. The center is supported by a multidisciplinary team of specialists from a variety of disciplines including:
