Meet the Physician

Dr. Linda Sternau received her medical degree from the State University of New York (SUNY) School of Medicine in Buffalo, New York. She completed her residency in neurosurgery at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, and a fellowship in neuro-ophthalmic surgery at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Prior to joining Memorial Healthcare System, Dr. Sternau was Chief of Neurosurgery at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach.

Dr. Sternau has conducted funded research on cerebral ischemia and human brain temperature following head injury. She was also recognized as a Woman of Vision honoree by the Weizmann Institute of Science, South Florida region, and is listed in the directory of Top Doctors of America for Neurological Surgery.
