I am a double board-certified pediatric dermatologist and dermatologic surgeon. I perform many laser surgeries for vascular birthmarks and other conditions, and treat general dermatologic conditions including acne, molluscum, hair loss, nail disorders, psoriasis and eczema.
I enjoy research that incorporates laser therapy. I have done research with vascular anomalies, pediatric psoriasis and atopic dermatitis.
My specialty is the perfect blend of my two passions: pediatrics and dermatology. I’ve always felt strongly about advocating for children. It’s my passion to inform families of what I know so they can make the best possible decision for their child. I love the satisfaction of giving my best to patients and their families. I’m a new mother and I think that adds a richer dimension to the level of care I provide to my patients.
As a physician, you’re in a position to be trusted and help individuals during their most vulnerable times, and it’s an honor for me to earn and keep that trust.
I often host free skin checks, and am involved in grassroots events and programs that educate the public about solar protection and sun safety for children. I am proud to have received the first Volunteer of the Year award ever given by the Women’s Dermatologic Society.
When I have free time, I enjoy jogging outdoors and traveling. I especially love to salsa and perform other forms of dance.
