U18 Sports Medicine

U18 Sports Medicine was developed to treat and help prevent injuries in young athletes. The physician group includes fellowship-trained pediatric orthopaedic surgeons from the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital — Michael Jofe, MD; Randolph Cohen, MD; Neal McNerney, MD; Stephen Storer, MD; Jeremy Frank, MD and Eric Eisner, MD. They treat such upper- and lower-body injuries as:

  • Neck
  • Shoulder
  • Back
  • Elbow
  • Hand
  • Hip
  • Knee
  • Ankle
  • Foot

Comprehensive services include diagnostic imaging by pediatric radiologists and technologists, anesthesia care by board-certified pediatric anesthesiologists and rehabilitation by orthopaedic-certified physical therapists.

U18’s services extend into the community through athletic trainers in area high schools and presentations to coaches, parents and other community members interested in sports medicine. Visit the U18 Sports Medicine website.
