Bio

Dr. Galia Napchan Pomerantz is a pediatric pulmonologist at the Division of Pediatric Pulmonology at Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital Cystic Fibrosis and Pulmonary Center. She received her medical degree from the University of Buenos Aires and completed a residency at the Ricardo Gutierrez Children's Hospital in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She then completed a pediatric residency and a fellowship in pediatric pulmonology at Jackson Memorial Hospital – University of Miami Miller School of Medicine.

Prior to coming to Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital, Dr. Napchan Pomerantz was Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Miami's Miller School of Medicine for five years. During that time, she was also the Director of the Asthma Center and the Infant Pulmonary Function Test Laboratory of the Department of Pediatric Pulmonology at Jackson Memorial Hospital.
