Overnight Accommodations for Families

When a child is undergoing hospital treatment, the basic comforts of home can mean a great deal to the other family members, especially if they have come from out of town. To make it easier for parents to be near their hospitalized child, Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital Foundation operates Conine Clubhouse, a comfortable residential facility situated close to the hospital. Conine Clubhouse has private sleeping rooms and amenities that offer a nurturing environment – a home away from home where families can stay free of charge, based on availability.

Emergency Transport Needs

Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital has a multifaceted emergency Transport Program that is dedicated to providing prompt, safe medical transfer of children in need of emergency care. Each member of the Transport Team is certified in pediatric advanced life support and advanced cardiac life support, and each is highly experienced in emergency pediatric care. A specially equipped ambulance transports patients from nearby hospitals, while an in-flight medical team transports children via Learjet from locations around the world. The Transport Team also provides helicopter ambulance services for critically ill children from other Florida healthcare facilities.
