Outpatient Rehabilitation Center
At Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital Outpatient Pediatric Rehabilitation Centers, we understand that children have special needs. From our child-sized equipment to our team of specialists, we offer a kid-friendly approach to rehabilitation, providing highly individualized therapies for children whose impairments are the result of illness, injury and congenital defects.
For your convenience, services are offered throughout south Broward County. Our services include assessment, personalized program development, and continual monitoring of progress to encourage children to reach their full potential. With all of our services provided at one convenient facility, our highly skilled, licensed physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech and language pathologists and audiologists work as a team to design safe and comprehensive therapeutic programs for children from birth though age 18.
Specialty Programs
We also offer specialty outpatient rehabilitation programs. Here is some information on those programs.
- Craniofacial Clinic helps children with craniofacial anomalies, such a cleft lip and palate. Patients are assessed by a team of physicians, speech and language pathologists and other professionals. The goal is to initiate services as early as possible to achieve the best results
- Developmental Clinic offers weekly screenings to assess children age 3 years and younger who may be at risk of not meeting developmental milestones

Tips
