Compassionate and Quality Care for Children with Cancer and Blood Disorders

The Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders at Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital is committed to caring for children with cancer and blood disorders. We strive to provide quality medical care, comprehensive support services and active clinical research – all in a child-friendly environment.

Our experienced, board-certified physicians work closely with the patient, family and other health professionals to provide excellent individualized treatment for children from infancy to young adulthood.

Excellence in Research and Patient Care.

We are proud to be members of the Florida Pediatric Community Clinical Oncology Program and an affiliate of the Children's Oncology Group, two organizations that lead the way in developing leading-edge treatment protocols for childhood cancer. Our involvement with these organizations, as well as our active participation in clinical trials and research, showcases our commitment to clinical excellence and the highest standards of patient care.

Support For Children and Their Families.

At Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital, we understand the impact of illness on both a child and their family. We pride ourselves on our comprehensive support services, including child life specialists and social workers, whose role it is to assist patients and families through the challenges cancer and blood disorders can bring. Furthermore, we are privileged to offer social support, education, and alternative and complementary therapies.
