Tobacco-Free Campus Initiative
Enhancing Our Healing Environment
Memorial Healthcare System is tobacco-free. This is a fundamental reflection of our system wide commitment to improving the health of the community we serve.
Employees, patients, members of the medical staff, family members and visitors, contractors, vendors, volunteers, students and tenants of Memorial medical office buildings are all included in this program designed to help enhance our healing environment.
Tobacco use – including cigarettes, cigars, pipes, chewing tobacco and electronic cigarettes – is prohibited on all campuses and in all vehicles at all Memorial sites. Nicotine replacement therapy is available for purchase in the Outpatient Pharmacies, Retail Pharmacies and/or Gift Shops throughout Memorial Healthcare System.
To offer support and resources, Memorial has partnered with the Nova Southeastern University AHEC Quit Smoking Now program. For details, please call 954-262-1588.
Thank you for your cooperation and collaboration as we take this healthy step forward.
