At Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, we know how challenging it is when your child is in the hospital. That’s why we go to great efforts to help make your stay here is as comfortable as possible. Below is a listing of the many amenities we have to offer.

ATM Machine

An ATM machine is available 24 hours a day in the hallway that connects the JDCH lobby to the main entrance of Memorial Regional Hospital, just beyond the children’s hospital information desk.

Cashier’s Office

Payments can be made toward medical bills at the Cashier’s office between 8am – 4:30pm, Monday – Friday. Please call 954-265-5143 for more information.

Cafeteria

The Memorial Regional Hospital cafeteria is located just off the lobby of Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital. The cafeteria is open daily:

• Breakfast 6am – 10am
• Lunch 11am – 2pm
• Dinner 4:30pm – 7:30pm
• AM Dinner 1:30am – 4am

Snacks and Beverages Only:

• 4am – 5:30am
• 10am – 10:30am
• 2pm – 4pm
• 10pm – 1am

Hot entrées, sandwiches, hamburgers, hot dogs, salad bar, bread and rolls, cereal, yogurt, desserts and more are available. The menu and availability of items change each day. Refreshments are also available for purchase in vending machines in the cafeteria dining area. Parents with Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital armbands are entitled to a 50 percent discount in the cafeteria.

Dining Options

For your convenience, the Clipper Café is located on the first floor of Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital. For room service, please call 954-265-0139. McDonald’s is located in the main lobby of Memorial Regional Hospital, and Au Bon Pain is in the Memorial Regional Hospital cafeteria.

Nutritional Services

The goal of the Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital culinary team is to provide meals that are delicious and nutritious for our patients. Patients may make their own selections from a child-friendly pediatric menu of appetizing choices. Many choices are available to suit a variety of dietary needs. Please order patient meals via the room service main number at 954-265-0140.

Gift Shops

Three gift shops are located on our campus: one in the Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital lobby, and two on the first floor of Memorial Regional Hospital. Child-appropriate merchandise is available in the gift shops in the Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital lobby and first floor of Memorial Regional Hospital (near the Pediatric Emergency Department and cafeteria).

The gift shops have a variety of candy, sugar-free treats, cards, books, magazines, gifts, chocolates, etc. As an added convenience, you may place gift orders by phone for patients in the hospital. The gift shops accept American Express, Discover, MasterCard, and Visa credit cards and are open daily from 9am – 8pm.

Language Translation

Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital also maintains a list of employees who speak a wide range of languages – please ask your nurse or medical caregiver about arranging translation services. Please call 954-276-5293 for assistance.

Pharmacy

The Hollywood Discount Pharmacy is conveniently located in the lobby of the Memorial Medical Office Centre, 1150 Joe DiMaggio Drive (North 35 Avenue). Medical supplies, prescriptions, over-the-counter medications and more are available. The store hours are 8:30am to 6pm, Monday through Friday; and 8:30am to 1pm, Saturday; closed on Sunday. Phones

There are several public pay telephones in the hallway between the lobby of Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital and the cafeteria. There is also a pay phone near the restroom area off the main entrance to Memorial Regional Hospital.

TTY Devices/ Special Needs

Use of TTY Devices and other options for vision and hearing impaired visitors can be arranged through the Patients with Special Needs Office at 954-265-6343.

Valet Parking

For your convenience, all Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital families and visitors can access the hospital via complimentary valet parking at the front entrance of the new hospital.

When you are ready to leave, the valet drivers can bring your car regardless of the initial valet drop-off location. For example, families of patients admitted to the hospital through the Emergency Department can retrieve their car at the front entrance of the new hospital.
