Special Activity Centers
Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital has several special activity areas for patients and their families. These centers are designed to provide a place to relax and take advantage of convenient, home-away-from-home amenities provided free of charge. Love Jen Family Support Center
The center has its own playroom, a classroom where two Broward County schoolteachers can tutor patients, a big-screen television, a physician/family conference room, kitchenette and laundry facilities and a shower.
Outdoor Play Area
Kids can get a little fresh air in our outdoor play area.
Playroom
This indoor playroom has toys, games, medical play and arts and crafts, and often hosts special hospital events.
Relaxation Room
Patients are invited to this relaxing environment where they can sit in a massage chair and listen to soothing music.
Teen Room
A special place just for teens to hang out, play games and make friends their own age who are going through similar challenges.
