With all of our services provided at one convenient facility, our highly skilled, licensed Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Pathologists and Audiologists work as a team to design safe and comprehensive therapeutic programs for children from birth though age 18.

Yoga for the Special Child

Audiology Services are available to assess how well the patient processes auditory information, and to address any limitations through appropriate equipment and training.

Modified Barium Swallow Studies are conducted by Speech and Language Pathologists, Radiologists and other professionals in order to evaluate and provide solutions for patients with swallowing impairments.

Occupational Therapy can help children with neurological and orthopedic impairments, developmental delays or other medical disabilities. Occupational therapists may use a variety of techniques to restore functional independence in activities of daily living.

Physical Therapy includes a variety of treatments to help children with neurological impairments, developmental delays and other medical disabilities. After evaluating individualized needs, a therapist will develop a program to increase the patient’s functional independence.

Pragmatic Programs are offered to help children develop social skills, and help them learn to organize, integrate and make sense of their environment. Groups of 5 children are gathered to teach appropriate use of language in social situations, and parents are shown how to encourage a child’s social development with new language skills.

Speech Therapy by certified, licensed Speech and Language Pathologists is available to assess and treat patients with communication difficulties or delays. Parents are encouraged to participate in treatment, as well.

A physical therapist provides tailored rehabilitation services to a child

Craniofacial Clinic helps children with craniofacial anomalies, such a cleft lip and palate. Patients are assessed by a team of physicians, Speech and Language Pathologists and other professionals. The goal is to initiate services as early as possible to achieve the best results.

Developmental Clinic offers weekly screenings to assess children age 3 years
and younger who may be at risk of not meeting developmental milestones.

Voice Therapy is designed to help patients enhance voice production and quality. Therapists use state-of-the-art equipment to provide the immediate feedback needed to enhance progress.

Visual-Perceptual Testing is used to evaluate the child's ability to discriminate, copy and recall information.

Yoga for the Special Child is a yoga program for children with developmental delays and other special needs. Offered in separate sessions for children from age 1 through 5 and those age 6 and older, classes are limited to 6 participants. Working with their parents, children learn important socialization skills, build self-esteem, and achieve other goals. Participants must have a physician’s consent form.
