About Us
The Cystic Fibrosis and Pulmonary Center at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital is one of only a few nationally accredited Cystic Fibrosis Centers in Florida, and the only facility of its kind in Broward County.
Since 1993, the Center has provided a multidisciplinary approach to meet the complex needs of patients with pulmonary conditions, as well as cystic fibrosis patients and their families. The Center also offers pediatric services for a multitude of pulmonary conditions affecting children. Our physicians offer years of experience treating different lung conditions affecting children of all ages, including those related to sleep disorders.
Our board-certified pulmonologists and pediatricians specialize in evaluating, treating and managing chronic pulmonary disorders. Other team members, extensively trained in pulmonary conditions, include a board-certified pediatric sleep medicine specialist, geneticist, pediatric gastroenterologists, a licensed nutritionist, a licensed and certified social worker, a nurse practitioner, registered nurses, respiratory therapists and more.
