ATM Machine

An ATM machine is available 24 hours a day in the hallway that connects the
Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital lobby to the main entrance of Memorial Regional Hospital, just beyond the children's hospital information desk.

Call Lights

Patients can always easily get in touch with their medical caregivers. In addition to the call light feature at every bed, patients and their families are provided with a cell phone number so they can reach their nurse or medical caregiver directly.

Cashier's Office

Payments can be made toward medical bills at the Cashier's Office between 8am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday. Stamps are available for purchase from vending machines in the Cashier's Office. Call (954) 987-2020, extension 5143 for more information.

Cafeteria
The Memorial Regional Hospital cafeteria is located just off the lobby of
Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital.

The cafeteria is open daily:
Breakfast 6am - 10am
Lunch 11am - 2pm
Dinner 4:30pm - 7:30pm
AM Dinner 1:30am - 4am

Snacks and Beverages Only:
4am - 5:30am
10am - 10:30am
2pm - 4pm
10pm - 1am

The cafeteria is closed between:
1am - 1:30am
5:30am - 6am
10:30am - 11am
4:pm - 4:30pm
7:30pm - 10pm

Hot entrees, sandwiches, hamburgers, hot dogs, salad bar, bread and rolls, cereal, yogurt, desserts and more are available. The menu and availability of items change each day. Refreshments are also available for purchase in vending machines in the cafeteria dining area. Parents with Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital armbands are entitled to a 50 percent discount in the cafeteria.

Java Cafe
The Java Cafe coffee stand sells gourmet coffee drinks and a variety of muffins, cakes and cookies. Hours of operation are 7am - 6pm, Monday-Friday and 9am - 6pm, Saturday; closed on Sunday. Located in the main lobby of Memorial Regional Hospital.

McDonald's Restaurant
For your convenience, there is a McDonald's restaurant in the main lobby of Memorial Regional Hospital. McDonald's is open seven days a week from 6am - 12am (midnight).

Nutritional Services The Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital and Memorial Regional Hospital Nutritional Services staff strives to provide patient meals that are delicious and nutritious. To encourage your child's appetite, we allow patients to choose their own selections from a child-friendly pediatric menu at meal times. The Food & Nutritional Services Department can be reached at (954) 987-2020, extension 5165.

Snacks
Vending machines are located on the fourth floor and in the cafeteria dining area. Refreshments can also be purchased in the Memorial Gift Shop.

Gift Shop

For quick snacks, magazines to read or beautiful gift selections, the Memorial Gift Shop has something for everyone! Located in the main hallway of Memorial Regional Hospital close to the main entrance, the shop sells candy, sugar-free treats, cards, books, magazines, newspapers, coloring books and crayons, flowers and plants, ice cream, a wide variety of gifts, gift bags, boxed chocolates, children's clothing, toys and baby items. Seasonal merchandise is also available.

As an added convenience, you may call in gift orders by phone for patients of the hospital. The gift shop accepts American Express, Discover, MasterCard and Visa credit cards. Friendly volunteers staff the shop, and all proceeds go back into Memorial Healthcare System programs. The gift shop is open daily from 9am - 8pm. Language Translation

The Hispanic Services office coordinates care for Spanish-speaking patients and visitors. For more information please call (954) 986-6325. Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital also maintains a list of employees who speak a wide range of languages — please ask your nurse or medical caregiver about arranging translation services for languages other than Spanish. Sign language interpretation is available through the Patients with Special Needs office at (954) 986-6343.

Pharmacy

The Hollywood Discount Pharmacy is conveniently located in the lobby of the Memorial Medical Office Centre, 1150 Joe DiMaggio Drive (North 35th Avenue). Medical supplies, prescriptions, over-the-counter medications, candy, cards and more are available. The store hours are 8:30am - 6pm, Monday - Friday and 8:30am - 1pm, Saturday; closed on Sunday. Phones

There are several public pay telephones in the hallway between the lobby of Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital and the cafeteria. There is also a pay phone near the restroom area off the main entrance to Memorial Regional Hospital. There are courtesy phones throughout the hospital for free local calls.

TTY Devices/Special Needs

Use of TTY Devices and other options for vision and hearing impaired visitors can be arranged through the Patients with Special Needs office at (954) 986-6343.

Valet Parking

here is free valet parking at the entrances to the Memorial Outpatient Center and the main entrance to Memorial Regional Hospital, as well as the main entrance to the Memorial Medical Office Centre at 1150 Joe DiMaggio Drive.
